Welcome, Carrie!

Greetings! I am so extraordinarily glad to be joining the MPC family! I can’t wait to meet you all, and learn about all the ways God is working in this congregation and in each of us as individuals. What an adventure! To tell you a little bit about myself, I grew up in South Jersey as one of four kids. I now have seven nieces, ranging from college age to first grade! I also have a very silly cat named Freya who runs the household. I’m hoping you get to meet some of my family and friends as we go – I think you’ll like them a lot! My faith and character have been strengthened over the years by them, and I am proud to be a part of such an amazing family. Speaking of which, I have been meeting with THIS new family, and find it is just as amazing! As I am getting to know volunteers and staff, everyone has been incredibly welcoming and open – I can’t wait to see what God does in us and through us! This summer, we have a great VBS, an all-church mission trip to North Carolina, and so many plans for family growth and fun! Over the summer, we’ll get to know each other as we meet at the church for things like Family Game Night and Dessert Extravaganzas, Sing-Along-Cinema and Popcorn Festival, and even free Babysitting nights! Do you like Media’s Dining Under the Stars? I hear it’s pretty great – so plan for dates and times with us when you can drop of the kids and GO! There’s so much more to come as we learn and grow together – but I do want to take a moment to thank you all for your hard work and prayers. I know we’ve been praying separately for MPC as folks have worked to fill this position, and now, we get to do it together! You’re doing a great job! Let’s see where God takes us next!
