High School Summer Trip

Each summer we spend one week together as a high school ministry.  This year’s high school trip is called “Almost Heaven” and we’ll be touring through Mark’s home state of West Virginia.  The trip will be the week of July 6th, and we hope you’ll plan to spend this week with us.  If you are interested in discovering more about this trip, continue checking back here for trip updates, or stop by the church to pick up a flyer. Summer Missions Trips

Each summer the youth ministry of MPC travels to Mars Hill, NC to participate in the church wide mission trip.  Every youth between 6th and 12th grade is invited to fully participate in the renovation of homes in the rural setting of the mountains of North Carolina.  The youth ministry travels together in vans and spends time interacting with the older friends and members of the church for a time of hard work and hard play.  This year our trip begins on July 19th with a layover in Roanoke, VA.  We hope you’ll join us for this exciting week of missions work.  To discover more about the ministry in Mars Hill, be sure to check out the Missions tab on the home page.  Click here to download registration form.

Nicaragua Mission Trip

This summer we are taking a group of high school students to Matagalpa, Nicaragua to work with the Young Life ministry there.  If you are interested in this trip, please stop by the office to pick up the application form, or download one here.  Applications for the trip are due no later than March 9th at 7:00pm.  If you have any questions, please contact Mark.

Fall trips

Each fall we spend one weekend away with each area of the youth ministry.  In November the middle school students traditionally go to Harvey Cedars Bible Conference Center to worship and fellowship with other Presbyterian youth ministries from the greater Philadelphia area.  In December, the high school students also participate in a weekend retreat, again at Harvey Cedars Bible Conference Center.  More details about the 2008 trips will be available beginning in September.
