Hi Parents and Kids!
You are reading the Kids Zone Newsletter, The Zone, which is mailed out monthly to those who have been involved with the children’s ministry at Media Presbyterian Church. This letter will keep you and your child(ren) in the zone about the happenings of MPC’s children’s programs. Each newsletter will provide information about upcoming dates and events as well as share news in regard to past programs. You do not have to attend our church regularly to participate in any of our events!
I am writing this while Hurricane Irene is moving up the coast and I am breathing a prayer for all of those who are in harm’s way. It seems this time, people are, for the most part, taking the threat seriously and are making preparations and taking precautions. Prudence is a great remedy for panic and it’s a virtue that needs to make a comeback in our country.
I hope that this summer brings some time of relaxation and reflection for us all, but let us also strive to allow this summer to be a time of refreshment and renewal in our faith and service to Christ.
