The MPC Sanctuary choir will present Requiem by John Rutter on November 3 at 3:00 pm – All Souls’ Sunday. A Requiem is a service of prayers, asking God to give our beloved dead eternal light and rest, and reminding us of our eternal hope in Christ. It is a very healing service for all and a magnificent piece of music. We are very fortunate to be presenting this musical work with a 14 piece orchestra!
When I first arrived at MPC in January of 2008, it was my intention to stay for a couple years and then move back into the world of cross-cultural missions. It has been five years now, a reflection of my love and respect for you all, as well as a renewed faith, especially that God loves the world through His church.
I am very thankful for what God has done in our midst this year, and I am thankful for all of you who allowed yourselves to be His vehicles."
