Join us for our Annual Meeting on Sunday, January 29, 2012, following the one service at 10 a.m.
Do you feel led to get involved? Do you have a gift? We’ll take it. Tell us what your talent is, and we’ll figure out how to use it.
We have the wonderful problem of having people who want to help, but not having enough opportunities! In response, we are putting together a database of people’s gifts and talents so that we can match people’s gifts and talents with the needs that have been identified.
Do you like to organize? We can use you!
Do you like to cook or clean? We can use you!

I am writing this while Hurricane Irene is moving up the coast and I am breathing a prayer for all of those who are in harm’s way. It seems this time, people are, for the most part, taking the threat seriously and are making preparations and taking precautions. Prudence is a great remedy for panic and it’s a virtue that needs to make a comeback in our country.
Matthew Smith will appear in concert with his full band, old hymns and new music on Sunday, October 16 at 7:30 PM. All are invited to the evening, which offers an opportunity to listen to old hymns re-imagined.

Also, enjoy a potluck dinner before the concert at 6 PM.
For years, I have sat in the pews the Sunday after the all church mission trip listening to testimonies, feeling moved to join the force. This year was going to be "our time" to go. Looking back over the past 9 years that we have been members of MPC, I am not sure what I was waiting for........ I would always ask myself.....
