Prayer: Our Father, you know exactly what you are doing, even when we can't get comfortable or understand why. We thank you for including us with loving kindness in your rescue story and for the promise that you are for us. Help us not to fear, but to go, to speak, and to do in Jesus' name and for your kingdom. Amen.

Prayer: O Mighty Lion of Judah with blood on His mane, help us to see things the way you do, to value what you value, and to love what you love. Cultivate in us humble spirits that are wanting and willing to love you and our neighbors better than we did yesterday. We pray this in the name of the God-man Jesus Christ, the Carpenter-Messiah from Galilee and On High.

Prayer: Heavenly Father, I thank you for sending us your Son as the perfect sacrifice for all our sins. Please give me the strength today to follow you to the place I don’t always want to go. At the foot of the cross is the only place where I can truly see who I am. Just a sinner saved by grace! Amen.

Prayer: In this coming year, may God bless us with hope enough to keep sunshine in our love, and fear enough to keep us holding hands in the dark; unity enough to keep out roots entwined, and separation enough to keep us reaching for each other; harmony enough to keep romance in our song, and discord enough to keep us tuning our love so it becomes sweet music to all who may hear it.

Prayer: Gracious God, help me hold onto my self-esteem as a woman and to be strong. At the same time guide me in humility and respect for all your children whom you created to thrive in your world. Thank you for my serenity to accept my consummate role as wife and mother in your grand plan for me. I thank you Lord for filling any emptiness I may have had. Amen.

Prayer: O Lord, you declare us to be the light of the world and the salt of the earth, but I cannot even imagine being able to say "Be imitators of me as I am of Christ." During this Lenten time, Lord, search my heart and see if this can be my goal, all for the sake of those who do not yet know you. Please, Jesus, don't allow my life to obscure anyone's view of you. Instead, let me be a beacon pointing your way.
