Dear Father in heaven. I know that out of fear, I shy away from identifying with You. I know the world around me needs to see Christ. Give me the words and the strength to answer those who want to know about You. Give me comfort in knowing that You have prepared these encounters and will speak through me. “All I know is that I was blind and now I see”

Lord, help us to be of open and clean mind and to be unattached and vulnerable to Your will. Give us meditative thoughts to help us to be this way. Take us to a place where we will have Your hope and not our own.

God, sometimes there are things going on in my life that I know I must go through to get past. It’s really difficult, and I thank You that I can always come to You and lay my burdens at Your feet. Please help me to remember that You are always with me in times of trouble.

Heavenly Father, help me to love the freedom found in Your commandments and not the sin found in lawlessness. Turn my head with Your love so that sin cannot seduce me.

Dear Heavenly Father,
I thank thee for all thou hast given me,
For my life and my strong body,
For my parents and my home,
For my school and my church,
For my friends and my playmates,
And for all the other people who love me and whom I love.
Help me today to be generous in my play,
Willing in my work,
Faithful in my school,
And happy in my home.

Heavenly Father, Thank You for Your infinite love and grace. May You be with me when I am happy or alone, struggling or soaring, in darkness or times of great joy, as I try to follow the teachings of Your Son, Jesus Christ. His path is not always an easy one to walk, but nothing worth doing ever is. Amen.
