Lord, we are tired spiritual wanderers.  Help us to accept the full truth of Your Gospel message: that rest comes through accepting the Gospel of Jesus Christ through faith.  Teach us to work for Your accomplishments, not our own.

Dear Heavenly Father, as we face suffering in this life, guide us to  place our trust in You.  As we approach Easter, help us to remember the ultimate suffering of Your Son and the gift we have received through His life, death, and resurrection.  Through trials, bless us with the peace that transcends all understanding.

My Father and my God, I am too often beset by worry.  You told us  specifically not to worry.  You reminded us that all of nature is under Your control.  If You show such care for flowers, trees, birds, and the animal kingdom; how much more will You care for us.  Please give my soul peace, quicken my spirit to focus on You and Your love for me, and away from whatever troubles me.
