DAY 35

Monday, March 25, 2013

Prayer:

Dear Lord, we thank You for this day as we thank You for each day You give us. Remind us again and again that You watch over us without ceasing and that You love us without stinting and that You guard us without failing. Thank You that our life on Earth and our life beyond is always in Your care. We pray in the name of Jesus Christ.

DAY 34

Saturday, March 23, 2013

Submitted by Steve Buxton, Elder

Prayer:

My Father and my God, I am too often beset by worry.  You told us  specifically not to worry.  You reminded us that all of nature is under Your control.  If You show such care for flowers, trees, birds, and the animal kingdom; how much more will You care for us.  Please give my soul peace, quicken my spirit to focus on You and Your love for me, and away from whatever troubles me.

DAY 33

Friday, March 22, 2013

Submitted by Betty Luzier, Deacon

Prayer:

Dear Lord, In this season of Lent, help us to take the time to quiet our minds so that we may hear You and quiet our hearts so we may feel Your presence. If we are at a difficult place in our lives and can't seem to hear or feel Your presence, help us just to remember You are always with us.  In Jesus' name. Amen

Scripture:  Psalm 22

Tuesday, March 19, 2013

Prayer:

Dear Father in heaven. I know that out of fear, I shy away from identifying with You. I know the world around me needs to see Christ. Give me comfort in knowing that You have prepared these encounters and will speak through me. “All I know is that I was blind and now I see”

Scripture: John 9:18-41
