Lenten Loaves of Love provides several ways for us to share our love for God and for our neighbors during this season that culminates in the triumph and joy of the Resurrection. Through Lenten Loaves of Love we may also memorialize or honor our family and friends at Easter. Your gifts to Lenten Loaves of Love will enable us not only to beautify our sanctuary with flowers, but also to show our love for God and our neighbors in a concrete way.
"If anyone has material possessions and sees his brother in need but has no pity on him, how can the love of God be in him? Dear children, let us not love with words or tongue but with actions and in truth."
- 1 John 3:17-18
Have an extra winter coat you’re not wearing?
What about a pair of gloves, a coffee maker, or a laptop?
This Lent we invite all of you to sacrifice. Think about something you value in your life, yet something you may be able to part with to benefit someone in need.
A prayerful reflection on Lenten sermon series.
Each week we’ll look at the previous Sunday’s text using Lectio Divina. Lectio Divina is Latin for "divine reading" or "holy reading" and is a practice of praying through scripture.
Led by Rev. Craig Bean and Mark Boyd.
