Advent Cornucopia Potluck

Sunday, 11/30, 11:00am
Dale Hall

You’re invited to our "Advent Cornucopia" on Sunday, November 30, after the combined (10:00 a.m.) worship service.

This is a Pot Luck! There is no agenda, no speaker, no meeting – nothing but eating and chatting and having a good time!

Bring your chocolate pies, your ambrosia, those macaroni casseroles, as we celebrate the beginning of Advent – the coming of the Christ child – in the most common way Jesus did ministry: at the table! Make plans now to attend and please bring a dish!

(Hosted by the Worship and Music committee)

November/December Newsletter

We are approaching Thanksgiving rapidly with Christmas within sight.  For most of America that means a time of high stress, lots of family gatherings with lots of food, cards, shopping, gifts, etc.  Churches and church members get caught in the same rush of activity with caroling, pageants, lunches, brunches, dinners and holiday festivities.

2012 Alternative Christmas Gift Program

Lasting Gifts

Media Presbyterian Church’s Alternative Giving Program leverages the impact of small financial donations to allow people to share the joy of making a difference in the lives of the less fortunate by meeting their practical and tangible needs. Since 2007, we have raised over $40,000 - primarily through donations of $5 - $50 from people of all ages.
