Session Highlights for October 2017


  • Session voted to be bound by the guidelines of Seeking To Be Faithful Together:  Guidelines for Presbyterians During Times of Disagreement.
  • Elders discussed how our congregation is intentionally unleashing the ministries of women, men, and people of different ethnic groups who are experiencing God’s call.
  • The Advisory Team reported on their meetings with Reverend Fettig.
  • Session approved the job description for a Director of Children and Family Ministries and the recommended salary range.
  • One service for Consecration Sunday on November 19th was approved.  The service will be followed by a luncheon.
  • Session approved an addition to the Membership Policy which talks about the New Member Class.
  • One worship service on Sunday, October 29th for the conclusion of 40 Days of Purpose was approved.  There will also be a ministry fair and brunch in Dale Hall following the service.
  • Session approved the purchase of new choir robes.
